It feels like it was just yesterday when we brought you home from the hospital and Ashlynn refused to even acknowledge your presence. Time has changed everything. You and Ashlynn have begun to enjoy each other. You love to say "No!" to Ashlynn when she asks you a question. I think it is your way of torturing her.
Last week was a week from hell. No better way to explain it. For a few weeks you have had drainage issues going on. You have also been teething. This equals fun times for mommy. Last weekend you started having a nasty cough and a nasty nose. So we ended up at the doctors office on Monday afternoon. It was discovered you had pneumonia, sinus infection and double ear infection. By Wednesday we were adding breathing treatments to you list of medication and by Friday you were pretty much back to normal.
So today you went to the doctor for you 18 month visit. You are now 31.75 inches tall and 23.8 lbs. You are 50th percentile for both height and weight. I looked back at Ashlynn's records and you guys were about the same.
So a new thing we are getting to experience (by we I mean me) is separation anxiety. You scream at night before going to bed because you don't want to be left. Not something we experienced with Ashlynn. Something I will be glad when the phase is over.
Your vocabulary has grown so much. You love love love to talk on the phone. You like to talk to Grandma Nise and Daddy on the phone. It's pretty cute because you will tell them, "Luv you or see you soon."
Since it is now summer we have started hanging out at the pool. You think you are miss hot shot. You try to jump in and swim all on your own. No fear!
