One of the perks of moving to Charlotte is we are now closer to my families lakehouse. It is like a home away from home! Both Joe and I want the girls to learn to love and respect the water. I started as a baby water sking in my dad's arms and we have carried on that tradition. Both Brinlee and Ashlynn have skied in Joe's arms. Ashlynn has actually tried water skiing on her own. We were also able to get Ashlynn to ride the inner tube with Grandma Nise. Brinlee on the other hand didn't want to leave my arms. It's ok we will keep working on it!
So it just seemed fitting to spend a mini vacation at the lakehouse. The girls love going and we just get to relax and enjoy ourselves. It is just nice to leave the daily grind and get the heck out of here!
